Sonic Frontiers thoughts

Sonic Frontiers. Oh man, what a wild ride this game has been. From fans and people feeling mixed about the game to feeling completely different after launch. From sega’s poor marketing to now, it has been interesting.

Sonic Frontiers is an open zone game and not an open world say dark souls, the breath of the wild, and so on. You do get the freedom to run around in these massive areas. And you have cyberspace levels that come as a second option* to clear a zone/island but you still need to explore the island to clear some of the story.

For me, I was worried that this game would be like Sonic forces which is serious at the start but becomes light-hearted. Or how the levels were going to be super short like Sonic forces but while that was not the case, for the most part.

The levels or stages were set up like Sonic Forces, but here, also had level layouts from other Sonic games like Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Generations, and more.

You have Green Hill, Chemical Plant, sky sanctuary, And a city stage as level themes. These are short stages but they are meant to be replayed and are not the main focus of the game since that was the open zone. being the selling point. If you were hoping the levels would be longer than Sonic Forces, you will be a bit disappointed here.

When Sega said this was an open zone-based game, I thought they were being fancy but no, they meant it, each area is a zone, meaning there is a load screen, a completely new area. And the zones do not connect like other open-world games.

Things I liked

Here is where I will talk about things I liked or loved.

1. The open fields
2. the combat (a bit simple but more later on)
3. The story
4. boss fights were great
5. the RPG elements were interesting
6. Some of the mini-bosses were fun to fight
7. The boss’s music was good.

My experience with Sonic Origins

Sonic Origins is one of the most awaited games because people had access to the ports of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and finally, Sonic 3 and knuckles all remastered and ready for game fronts like steam, PlayStation, and so on.

But there is something off here about the release of this collection, and what a great way to share the experience I had with the game. And look, if this is your first time playing the classic sonic games. or you never played them but wanted to, well now you got a chance to do so.

And yes, there are older collections out there that have Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and knuckles, and sonic 3 and knuckles. However, if you wanted to play the Sonic 1 & Sonic 2 mobile remastered ports, you would need to get Sonic Origins or buy them off the mobile stores.

Sonic Frontiers impressions

Sonic Frontiers. The big new Sonic game that has everyone talking about it but for the wrong reasons. So I wanted to talk about this game like I did with Sonic Forces and go into detail here, so bear with me on this.

We have gotten two video game trailers and two gameplay videos that show exploration and his basic moveset. And there are puzzles and collectibles and the combat focus video shows off more moves, combat, fights, and so on.

Before I begin, I want to say this is all speculation, assuming what may or may not be, talking about the good, bad, and other things.

Review: Sonic Forces

So it is time to give my review on Sonic Forces and tell you what I think.

I will be using the PS4 version for this review.

Sega and Sonic Team have given us a new game. Is it Good? Let’s find out.

Let’s talk about the story. I will be using the Sonic Forces theater to get a recap on the story

STORY

The game starts off, with Dr. Eggman being fed up losing to that blue blur, Sonic. This has led to him to make his latest creation that will put a stop to Sonic, and friends once and for all.

Eggman has his forces in the city where he now has control, Sonic gets the news from Tails and meets up with them. Being able to stop his robots from causing any more damage.

Sonic Forces Infinite

Hello again, Sonik here with a new post. Sorry I have not been posting as much but that will change in the near future.

So, as you already know. Sonic forces has showed off the new bad guy, Infinite. And damn, if Sega wanted to do edgy “right” They done it well here. I must say that he is pretty bad ass for a new bad guy.

And his theme “Infinite” is edgy but not too edgy, like Shadow The Hedgehog theme was. “Infinite” theme gives me Linkin Park vibes when I hear it. Can’t be sure if this is the full Song or not.

Sonic Forces Custom Character

So, a new trailer for Sonic Forces has dropped. And oh boy, People are happy with it and not happy with it. But it’s kinda normal but I will get in to it later. But let’s get into this, shall we?

So, as you knew before or some may not knew. Sonic’s Twitter teased at a 3rd character who would help Classic and modern Sonic through their new adventure to save the world.

So it was normal that there was going to be a trailer or at the very least, a video to show off this new character. Come May 16th, we get our video. Who is this character? The 3rd character is the player. Players can make and build their character to use.
