Tower of Fantasy first impressions

Tower of Fantasy. So I played the game and got my impressions. These will be brief impressions but enough to give you an idea of what I think of the game.

So I was not too big on playing this game since I play many video games already. And adding another MMORPG to my list was not in my plan, but I gave it a shot and tried it out anyway, and I like the controls in terms of movement.

But that’s where my praise ends, as the story is not interesting to me. The game is a buggy mess and seems very common. And the game is keyboard and mouse are the main focus. But you can use a game controller, but some, if not most ingame menus are not meant for a controller yet.

Tower of Fantasy gives off strong vibes of another gacha game out there. We all know what I am talking about here. It’s not a one-for-one, but the vibe is strong and look. If you like Tower of fantasy, I’m happy you do. You enjoy yourself. I don’t see myself getting too deep into this gacha MMORPG like, my friends.

If I wanted to play Gacha, I would have played Fate Grand Order or Genshin Impact, and on that note. My friend joked about how this was Genshin Impact online. And somewhat, this is true. At least to me, it is.

There is also the time gate for something along the lines. And this I do not mind because it is gacha. Not much you can do there but deal with it. Playing this game makes me want to play genshin impact again.

I don’t think this is an awful game. It gives players who liked genshin impact but wanted it to be an MMORPG. They can play Tower of fantasy to scratch an itch that players have. However, Tower of fantasy MMORPG seems pretty basic to me. It has a lot of bugs to work out and fix. I will still play the game but probably won’t stick around for this game.

December update log

Time to make a “fun” blog post, which is an update log at the end of the day. Let’s get going. Take this with a grain of salt.

Twitter

Ah, the land of the dead, the place I came back to because I had made a dummy account but went back to my old account because I felt guilty about doing that. And it’s more or less the same but now with ghosting? It’s whatever. If there is someone I want to remove from my account, I will just block them.

There are not many people to speak with on Twitter, and even post covid. People have stopped using Twitter or rather moved on. It’s almost funny, those same people (Who I won’t name) who I held to such a high standard don’t even say a word to me now.

So have I been doing / or what’s been happening on Twitter?

  1. Been talking to Xjazzy and Pippi
  2. been posting update posts on my fan game
  3. thinking of soft blocking accounts that are just not active.
  4. Posting updates and blog posts
  5. thinking of muting some users.
  6. Got a direct message from someone asking me a personal thing.
  7. I Learned Twitter got a new CEO and I feel this may bring in a new round of bans.

Genshin Impact – Shadows amidst snowstorms

Time to talk about the genshin impact event. Shadows amidst snowstorms, which is a fun event. You can build a snowman, get good rewards. All the event mini-games will offer up points which you can spend in the shop during the event.

This event is mainly for Albedo, because of the weapon you can get that Albedo scales off of DEF. If you have or planning on getting Albedo, it is best to act now, at the time of this post, you have 14 days to do everything that is currently unlocked. If you do not care about the weapon, at least do the event for the items you can get. Mora, primogems, weapon materials, and character materials for leveling up. Exp for characters and weapons.

==Event==

“Born of the snow.” is a simple thing. You build a snowman when a new level unlocks but to build a snowman, you need to do “Dragonspine Special Training.” which has three parts.

Agility Training is a racecourse where you move from point A to point B while getting coins and getting there as fast to get the gold medal and snowman part.

Tracker Training is an event where you must look for and melt 8 ice crystal piles in the target area or the large yellow circle. Some ice piles may spawn enemies or boars. Amber / Klee is good since they have no cooldown on fire damage.

Combat Training is just here to see how long you can last the cold and enemies if you are careless. This mode has lures if ignored. They will raise the rate of sheer cold. Which maxed out, you will begin to take damage due to sheer cold, which is like every second of damage.

You will want to use a good healer/friend. Or a scarlet Quartz on the lures to give yourself a buff.

==Event requirements and details==

To join the event, you must have done the following.

  1. Reach Adventure Rank (AR) 20 or higher.
  2. Complete the Archon Quest “For a Tomorrow Without Tears.”
  3. Complete Albedo’s Story Quest “Traveler Observation Report.”
  4. Joel’s “Lost in the Snow” Quest.

Event gameplay start / end date.

Start: 11/25/2021 10:00 | End: 12/13/2021 03:59

Event shop start / end date

Start: 11/25/2021 10:00 | End: 12/20/2021 03:59

For more details, refer to the official genshin impact page here: https://genshin.mihoyo.com/en/news/detail/17233. Or refer to in-game about the event.

Genshin Impact thoughts and stuff

Time to talk about Genshin Impact, A game I like playing a whole lot more. And this blog post will have some tips and opinions of mine.

The start of Genshin Impact?

Genshin impact at the start was the game that made some botw fans mad because genshin impact at the start was a “breath of the wild” clone, and it was funny to see so many users get worked up over a video game. Even a user I believe broke their ps4 in protest because they saw genshin impact on ps4 and thought it was a botw clone. I think it is silly.

Editor note: If I say botw, I’m referring to “Breath of the wild”. It’s faster to say. ouo

Genshin impact now.

Oh boy. It is a good open-world RPG with co-op build-in. It is also a single-player game that can be played online only. And yes, it does have some elements from botw but that’s fine. If you played BOTW, you will be fine here. It is also a gacha game, so you will be time-gated in terms of getting items, you can, of course, spend money to speed up the process of farming items.

YouTube Livestream Announcement

It has been a while since I made a post for when I go live. But I will go live on YouTube this time. And give this another shot since YouTube has a wider reach of viewers since most, if not all users, have a google account.

So, on YouTube, I got some games I want to stream Phantasy Star Online 2 is not one of them. I want to try out a few games and maybe, some coding in clickteam fusion 2.5. I will list the things I got planned.

Stream list for YouTube (And since I didn’t do my random twitch stream, I can do it on YouTube.)

  1. Spelunky 2
  2. Duel Links
  3. Genshin Impact
  4. Minoria
  5. Elsword

I guess goals for the stream are something I should have planned.

Spelunky 2

  1. Get to the end without dying.
  2. Unlock hidden characters
  3. Go and clear hidden paths
  4. Play this for an hour.

Duel Links

  1. Do some story duels, or whatever I want to do.
  2. Play PVP and try to get to rookie rank or higher.
  3. Try to relearn bujin and vampires.
  4. I will play this for an hour.

Genshin Impact

  1. Complete a backlog of story quests
  2. complete any weekly quests
  3. Farm drops
  4. Get all my gear to +20
  5. I will try to make progress, if able.
  6. Play this for an hour or more.

Minoria

  1. Make progress
  2. try to beat two bosses
  3. And play as long until I beat two bosses. Or something comes up.

Elsword

  1. Do daily quests.
  2. Complete weekly quests.
  3. Make alt characters to earn gold in-game.
  4. Do this for an hour or so.

There is no order for these games in which I will stream them. And there is a chance I won’t stream every game/thing here, but I will try to do some of it at least. And that should be fun to do, for me anyway.

The Livestream on YouTube will start at 6 Am (on time) or 8 Am – 11 Am (If I oversleep.) And I will end around 2 pm or later. And this is all on Eastern standard time. And this is going to happen on September 25th, and I hope the stream will go well, lol.

When I go live, you can find the YouTube stream here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo4v2cNVN5AwUWl2xbY9VdA

End of PSO2 logs

Ah, it’s time to make a Phantasy Star Online 2 progress log. Oh, wait. There is nothing I want to blog about in pso2, and by proxy, The witching hour. And from what I understand, PSO2 NGS will get significant updates every six months. I don’t know. This is not for me.

I guess this is the last progress log for Phantasy Star Online 2. I did everything I set out to do in the game. There is not a whole lot here for me to do here anymore. I did everything that I wanted in base phantasy star online 2, and then some.

With Base Phantasy Star Online 2 stripped bare of features that made the game fun to play, IMO. I don’t have a real reason to play PSO2, and by proxy, Phantasy Star Online 2: new genesis. I mean, joining a server for hunting Gigantix is as fun as watching paint dry.

There is a lot more like how having a Gigantix server is pretty silly. But that is a post for another time. I am not a hardcore player for New Genesis. I’m very casual when it comes to pso2, and pre witching hour, I was very casual.

By Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis dip feeding content, by content, I mean big updates. And it is no doubt that the semi-hardcore and hardcore players will continue to play, whale, scam players on the board, and make do with the current content.

The hardcore players will max out all the classes, weapons, armor units, and hunt Gigantix mobs every chance they can get. More power to them. A little sad, but that’s my opinion.

Where does this leave me now? Now with free time to do other things. Now Phantasy Star online 2 is no longer a goal of mine. Streaming games, playing Genshin Impact, Fate: Grand Order, coding apps and video games, feeling better, running a discord server, and hanging out on Twitter.

If Phantasy Star Online 2 New genesis; can live after the level 35 cap increase and new content, that’s great. But Phantasy Star Online 2 is not fun anymore for me. Sega ruined Phantasy Star Online 2 for me, but this is a good thing. A blessing, if you will. My love for others games is back, and I have been having fun playing those games a lot more.

That also means no more witching hour blog posts. The game is no longer interesting enough to write about these days. That’s all I have for this blog post. I’m closing a chapter in this book.

Thanks for reading.

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis thoughts

Where do I begin? I have so many thoughts towards Phantasy Star Online 2 / Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis because I spent well over 300+ hours playing Phantasy Star Online 2, and to see the state that it is in. It hurts, as someone who used to play other things, like genshin impact, Elsword, and fate go. It is not a good feeling.

The start

My experience with Phantasy Star Online 2 has been mixed at the start, but slowly got better over time. At first, I did not enjoy base Phantasy Star Online 2’s moment, and combat engine. It felt too stiff and slow for my liking. The affix system felt too arcade and harsh. Almost like a resident evil 1 game in how old systems were handled. User-friendly was not the main feature here. And while I still feel the same.

But over time, I grew to love or stand the combat engine, and other features. And with time, Base Phantasy Star Online 2 became a favorite of my MMORPG’s I enjoy playing. So to sum things up.

Hated the base Phantasy Star Online 2 start, but later on grew to love it, barring the affix system. It was a great MMORPG, and it was a game I could tell others to play Phantasy Star Online 2 because it was fun and worth the time.

Small list of things I done in February

So it is crazy. It is march, and by now. I would have a list of things I did in February, but some things have happened. And I had plans to make a lot of posts, but I can make up for it later. I will blog about something I like. And I may make a blog post about cooking.

So in its place. I can mention some things I have been doing to fill in its spot will be a list, plus I can show off some of my game development skills and share my thoughts on some things because why not.

I am thinking of talking about anime.

I have seen other cool bloggers talk about and review anime. People like Crow, Irina, and pinkie. And while I will never be on the same level as them. In terms of reviewing anime and whatnot. I always wanted to try my hand at talking about anime, but It is a worry at the back of my mind.

2021 goals

So, it is 2021, and the year is already looking weird. But that is something we all see, and I will not talk about it but want to talk about something else. For 2021, I have or want to make a list of things I want to do.

And this is a list of things I plan to do, want to do, or may do, not in that order. I can hope I can do most of them this year. I can not say everything will get done but playing it by ear.

Things I want to do for 2021

Blog related.

I want to start blogging more.

Schedule blog posts to go live.

December blog update

So, what a year, huh? So much has happened, it all has gone downhill, and the year was all over the place. For better or worst, but it was for the worst. There was “some” good moments in 2020. Even though all the awful things that happened to the world and everyone. I can point out some good things that happened to me or that I have done.

1.)Blogging

Since 2020 I have been blogging way more than average. I have done so much more than I had planned. I was in a dark place. And I am still in a dark place, but I have “better” control of it. But off track, I had a lot of things happen to me since I started blogging more.

Twitch stream recap

A day late, but wanted to talk about the Livestream and how it went. It went well, I started at 11 Am-ish, and I was about to stream for 5 hours, and in those 5 hours, I Livestreamed some games.

I will have links or clips to the stream highlight. I made a nice amount of Livestream highlights, and I will mention them.

Fullmetal Alchemist Edward GIF

1. Elsword

So the start was me doing Rigomor dailies and getting my weekly done. Next was fighting Gaia for a drop but got nothing sadly, and I ended the elsword stream on a few rounds of PVP. It was fun. Although, one player has sent me some hate mail cause I won. Next time, I would report them, but I didn’t screen capture their name, just their message.

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/797595902 The elsword stream is 2 hours and 33 mins long of what I mentioned above. If you like Elsword dailies, elsword PVE, and elsword PVP. You will enjoy that vod.

Here is a clip of the PVP match I had against a raven in elsword. https://clips.twitch.tv/IntelligentTriumphantFloofTheTarFu

This raven was fun to fight. The round became a game of tag. Running around and trying to hit each other, but in the end, it was a fun fight that got my heart pumping to fight someone that was on my level of skill.

Had my first stream after almost 4 months.

After four months of being inactive on Twitch, I started streaming again on twitch, and it went well. Played some Spelunky, and Genshin Impact on Twitch. It was a fun time. :3 I feel taking a break from twitch helps me enjoy it better.

Spelunky is hard but a blast to play through. It does not hold any punches. If you play reckless, you will learn the hard way. I got to 2-1 a few times but I love this Genre of games. It’s good stuff

Hiya. Just another blog update that is happy and a lot to talk about and dump out all my feelings. These are good feeling though. And I should talk about old stuff and new stuff
