So, I want to do something that I used to do on Tumblr. On Tumblr, I made a big post talking about the issues and problems I found with the site and I made that post in great detail. With WordPress, I found a lot of new issues, old issues that got somewhat worse, and just other things I am confused about.
WordPress reader tags (And this can apply to search)
These are very important and a good way to find what you are looking for, rather than trying to search for it without tags, making it harder. Tags are good for getting your posts found on WordPress reader and other sites.
Why am I talking about tags now? Well, I mentioned before that the NSFW tag was being cleaned up of bots and spam accounts but some posts got caught in the crossfire and wiped out from the tag.
And now today, some tags I check every once in a while seem to be empty. It is annoying to know that posts that you make will become hidden and/or removed later on as time goes on from search/tags
You can see hear that the last two blog posts are somewhat transparent here, and I have seen this on blog posts in the NSFW tag a few years ago, and I guess this means the blog post is marked to be removed/hidden? No clue for the https://wordpress.com/tag/steven-universe
Hmm, This is going to be an interesting post. So two days ago. I saw a post from pinkie saying she is done with blogging and the drive for blogging was no longer there. And it is a shame. From what I saw of her blogs, they were pretty good. They have quite the following.
It is a shame because I know what it feels like to lose the drive to blog now and then. And it is a shame I was never able to be blogging friends with pinkie. And I guess that is me and anime bloggers in a nutshell. I want to be friends with them, but I have social anxiety, which makes things hard when trying to talk. At least for me, this is a problem.
I saw that they found a new thing that makes them happy, streaming on twitch and being a Vtuber. And I am happy they found something that makes them happy. I am sure they will go far, and I wish them well. I suppose this is a sign that I should try to make friends on a platform while people are still here.
And they also mentioned getting ghost followers when their post has a certain word in it. Which I again, have had the same thing. I would also get ghost followers or bots followers and those are never good, but sadly not much you can do about them besides remove them yourself or ignore them.
There is not much to say but do what you love, and never force yourself to do something you don’t like doing anymore. It sounds like a (no duh) moment, but you be shocked to find out people force them to do something they don’t like when it is not needed to do so in the first place.
Huh, I got tagged again. I must say, I like these, although. I do these rarely. I tend to stay in my bubble unless I want to tag someone in a blog post or give others a shoutout. Let me see who tagged me in a blog post this time and on Valentine’s day? (I’m a bit late. lol)
Oh, it is eveningteamusings who is tagging me this time. And it is a tag. It seems it is a thing that you name seven items with fitting colors that you may like or that fit that color. It is a neat idea but never done a tagging like this. Let’s try to do it, and see if I mess it up. Lol.
“#1 Share your favorite stories—movies/books/anime/manga/drama/songs—by classifying them on these seven colors’ traits:
red: passionate, exciting, invigorating.
blue: peaceful, calming
pink: romantic, caring
orange: warm, motivating
black: mysterious, thrilling
green: fresh, unexpected
#2 Send this challenge invitation to at least one of your friends. Let them fear your superiority, as you—decide their fate.
#3 Link back to the original post here! And, enjoy!”
And thank you for tagging me in this color/colour challenge, eveningteamusings. Enough stalling, I said my thanks and linked back to the original post that tagged me. Now, to do this blog post.
So I woke up to see I got a blogger award. That’s the best thing you can wake up to, to be honest. All I had planned for was to check my blog stats, get on Twitter, and do whatever after that. But again, this is a delightful surprise, for sure.
So I want to say thank you to eveningteamusings for nominating me for an blogger award. You surprised me with this one, and for that, I positively thank you for such an honor.
So, reading the rules, I can do all of them.
Thank the person who nominated you and feature a link to their blog in your award post.
Post the award banner somewhere on your blog.
Share the reason why you started your blog.
Share two pieces of advice that could benefit new bloggers.
Nominate a maximum of fifteen other bloggers.
Tell your nominees about your award post so they can participate!”
Ah, It has been a while since I made a post, but this time, I wanna make a different post that kinda says: “Hey, go check these people out.” And I remembered that Twitter had these follow Friday type of days where you list off people who are worth checking out or even following.
And today, I want to do that. I might not be able to do this every day but, I figured why not do it now. Going to list off some blogs I found interesting and give them a shout-out.
crowsworldofanime is a fascinating blog where they review a ton of anime, and they go into great detail. They even help share anime I would never knew was out there. While I like their posts, I try to avoid spoilers for things I want to play or watch. They also talk about anime and create another post besides reviewing anime.
If you like anime, give them a shot, they will surprise you with their posts. I should make a post talking about anime one day. But check them out. They are awesome.
ageekygal has a bit of everything for anyone. From reviews to awards, cosplay, and fashion. Her blog has something here for you to like. And that’s pretty cool. Check them out. They are interesting. They even make videos. At the time of this post, I saw their video of sims 4 of making a speed build vampire. I will be sure to watch that video after. But yeah, give them a look, you will find something to like.
Getting out of my despair, I see that the lass is being forced to move to a self hosted site since WordPress support is more or less like Tumblr’s Support. By Tumblr Support, I mean useless support.
From what I seen, WordPress doesn’t know how to fix the issue and is willing to do or say anything that doesn’t have to do with Lifesfinewhine WP issue. It’s funny. WordPress seem like they were much more helpful then Tumblr but I guess not.
I seen lifesfinewhine got the “The Original Outstanding Blogger Award” And I would say it is quite earned. All her post are original and very helpful. And she is pretty cool. This post is a day late but… Better late than never, right?
The post was like a “tag me”, like on youtube in the old days. Share things about yourself and tag others. It’s always a fun time to learn new things about someone or at least know more about them.
At the end of her cool post, I saw her “My Nominees” was for anyone who wanted to comment on her post or make a post tagging her post with the same questions so she could she what others would like or see their answers. I hope this is ok. lol.
So, I was bored and looking on WordPress.com, and just seeing what people post who like my post. And one post caught my eye that I needed to blog about it. And replying to the post would not be enough, for me.
You may wonder what post I am talking about. Wonder no more, I, OnyChaos, will show you the post in question that made me want to make this post to talk about it.
This post got me thinking about some of the points, and I learned it’s nice to talk about this stuff. makes you really think, you know. Anywho, there are four points that is made in this post, I will give my thoughts on them.
And now, I am in a blog list now, lol. I saw I was in a blog list from this blog site that looks cool called crowsworldofanime and seems I am marked under as a anime blog. That’s pretty awesome to see.
My blog has started to pick up speed once I finally understood what tags I needed to use and categories I needed, because since then, my blog posts have been getting more spotlight aside from my Pangya posts
Huh. I been tagged by another blogger called “A Geeky Gal”. It’s funny, I woke up thought someone comment on my blog but a pingback is just as good.
“The Rules: (The ones I can do)
Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog. ✔
Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you. ✔
Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.✖
List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.” ✔?
This feels like the old YouTube days where people would get tagged, and have to make a video talking about five facts or things. However, this is that but a bit more. I normally stay in my little circle but it’s good to get out of that circle once in a while.
