So it seems we are moving again and not by choice. Our landlord is big baby mad that we won’t renew the lease for this place we are staying at this moment. I have a simple update to relay and whatnot.
Given that it is a new year and our lease on this place ends on May 31st. Our family was looking for a better place to stay in. So my mother does not want to renew the lease in case we found a new place and decide on something else once we find it and that has upset him so he is forcing home inspections and forcing us out. There is no option to renew here, he wants us gone.
The lease that he gave to renew has gone up in price and wanted more for staying in this house, and the place was already in bad shape and with him being the way he is as a landlord. That’s a yikes, but on a good note. We got a new place to stay in but this means we will have to start getting ready to pack up and repack stuff again sooner than later.
The point is, the landlord is petty, we are moving out around the end of May and see how things turn out for me and my family, and hope the next area is better. Sucks this again had to happen sooner instead of later but what can you do.
That’s all I wanted to write for this blog post and have something of a mini update on my blog.
So, I want to do something that I used to do on Tumblr. On Tumblr, I made a big post talking about the issues and problems I found with the site and I made that post in great detail. With WordPress, I found a lot of new issues, old issues that got somewhat worse, and just other things I am confused about.
WordPress reader tags (And this can apply to search)
These are very important and a good way to find what you are looking for, rather than trying to search for it without tags, making it harder. Tags are good for getting your posts found on WordPress reader and other sites.
Why am I talking about tags now? Well, I mentioned before that the NSFW tag was being cleaned up of bots and spam accounts but some posts got caught in the crossfire and wiped out from the tag.
And now today, some tags I check every once in a while seem to be empty. It is annoying to know that posts that you make will become hidden and/or removed later on as time goes on from search/tags
You can see hear that the last two blog posts are somewhat transparent here, and I have seen this on blog posts in the NSFW tag a few years ago, and I guess this means the blog post is marked to be removed/hidden? No clue for the https://wordpress.com/tag/steven-universe
It has been a while since I talked about Tumblr. And then I talked about Tumblr on a serious note was the post NSFW ban on Tumblr and link ban which hid blog posts, and after going back to Tumblr, I see they fixed their site. The search engine for Tumblr seems to show all. Even tags seem to be working right, but I can’t be completely sure.
And which all these changes, and given that Tumblr is a part of the WordPress family now, I have a new option for blogging. There is one thing I can’t be sure about, and that is the content you can post there.
Some of my content here, I do walk on thin ice and will mostly set off a content flag for banned content, even though, I censored it to death. But so far, I have been lucky. I don’t know if what applies to WordPress can be used on Tumblr, given they have different rules.
So, why am I talking about Tumblr today? I am thinking of making Tumblr my main blogging platform. Keyword: “thinking” WordPress is still a good site to use, And it has done a lot for me as a free user. But WordPress feels much more professional, which is not a bad thing. But I feel the content I post here is not a good fit. My target audience, I wanna say is not on WordPress, and if they are, they are so far buried under bots, spam posts, tags.
Easy to use Personal Blog free to customize your blog theme at will There is an audience for anyone there. No ads on blogs Infinite space for photos You can upload videos SEO may be better now? Add in third-party widgets (Addthis, etc…) A lot of fandoms Ask widget
Easy to use Personal Blog Making blog posts is easy A lot of good features Good SEO? Infinite space for photos by making new sites. Fandoms are here too. (None of the ones I’m into yet.) Spam filter some good themes for free users
These are pros I think about for Tumblr or WordPress. And Tumblr is not perfect, by any means. It still has porn bots that like to like posts or follow you. And every social media has bots. Look at WordPress. I still get bot followers, and in some tags, bots spam or copy and repost the same post to fill up a blog tag.
I guess what I wanted to do is talk about Tumblr. I will move back to Tumblr to see how things are, and how much has changed and do a simple test of posting to both blogging sites and see what happens. If Tumblr is better now in terms of blogging and blog tagging working right, I will probably move there. And making my WordPress blog a second backup blog.
Time to make a “fun” blog post, which is an update log at the end of the day. Let’s get going. Take this with a grain of salt.
Ah, the land of the dead, the place I came back to because I had made a dummy account but went back to my old account because I felt guilty about doing that. And it’s more or less the same but now with ghosting? It’s whatever. If there is someone I want to remove from my account, I will just block them.
There are not many people to speak with on Twitter, and even post covid. People have stopped using Twitter or rather moved on. It’s almost funny, those same people (Who I won’t name) who I held to such a high standard don’t even say a word to me now.
So have I been doing / or what’s been happening on Twitter?
Been talking to Xjazzy and Pippi
been posting update posts on my fan game
thinking of soft blocking accounts that are just not active.
Posting updates and blog posts
thinking of muting some users.
Got a direct message from someone asking me a personal thing.
I Learned Twitter got a new CEO and I feel this may bring in a new round of bans.
Now that I have no reason to use Facebook as much anymore and post covid 2020 things that happened and given that I don’t talk to anyone there, I thought about wiping the account and just making a new account and just following some people.
Not much here to say, to be honest. I will see what I will do. At the most, I will change my Facebook profile.
So, as you probably know or don’t know. I like comments. They are pleasant to read, sometimes. Other times they are not nice, but what can you do? Why I’m starting with this? I wanted to see if allowing anyone to comment without a WordPress account would be a good idea and bring in more comments? I know most users don’t have a WordPress account. And being able to comment without a WordPress account. May lead to more comments in theory.
So here are my results from the test I did. And it’s pretty much how I thought it would go. So Here are the spam comments I got from bots. Some of them are funny, and others are just sad. And sometimes, it is from the same account / IP, but the email and link are different.
These comments are more or less the same, asking if you can recommend something, ignoring the post, but these comments are in the trash as clearly spam. I have to wonder what these people get for creating spambots to post spam. I guess it’s a way to fill up comments with junk, like Tumblr bots used to do back then.
And then the other comments are just weird, like asking for adult toys to recommend or what kind of vape can someone could recommend. And at that point, it’s just bots spamming things of nonsense or whatnot
And I know you can turn on the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment.“ to stop the bot, and at the same time, users who don’t want to make an account can’t comment. It’s a double edge sword that keeps bots away but users as well. But this can also be used by bad actors. But there are some settings in place, like “Comment must be manually approved.” or “Comment author must have a previously approved comment.”
While not an important post. I thought it would be funny to share this blog post. Since bots are pretty wild on here, if you turn off “Users must be registered and logged in to comment.”. And since bots generally use similar keywords and words in each post marked for spam, it’s easy to disallow comment keys or disallow specific keywords.
Ah, yes. It’s time to make some changes that will be better for me. I have to put myself first and learn to say no. And some people or a person won’t like this, but oh well. This is an update log of stuff I want to do/plan to do and whatnot.
Things I want to do
Update on games I’m making.
Sonicvania + boss rush update
So, the boss rush fan game is still going to be updated. I have gone ahead and started on a SonicVania standalone game mode within the boss rush fan game, and how that can be unlocked will be a secret
The basic core engine for SonicVania is 5 % done. I think once I get 30% done, I will release it with an update. And on that note, I’m gonna work on the next boss as that is the holdup for the update and I need to add a cut scene. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. The second boss is the death egg robot, and I need to make an effect if a player tries to get behind the boss.
Controller Support is gonna be fun for main content and bonus content. You can still use a keyboard.
Let’s start the scene here. It was a normal day in Witching Hour as the guild was talking about nothing important to me. I guess there is a reason why I mute this server’s general chat. Nothing important to me, anyway.
Editor note: Hey, hi. This is just my long winded opinion/reply. There is no ill will here to anyone. ouo
So some witching hour members were talking about drinking after some were talking about something else. It’s amazing how fast the conversation can shift, and I decided to throw in my two cents, and why I don’t like drinking.
It was like a ha ha comment that was a simple opinion but then, the unthinkable happened. The smol one gave their opinion. How dare they. Having an opinion different from my opinion, in 2021? A sin, and the nerve. But I’m kidding. I don’t mind if people drink as long as they ain’t shit heads but now, let get to the topic here.
I said “I never drink. I just watch others do it and I get to see the real them.” See, I don’t have time to come up with a full response on the spot/fly.
Hmm, This is going to be an interesting post. So two days ago. I saw a post from pinkie saying she is done with blogging and the drive for blogging was no longer there. And it is a shame. From what I saw of her blogs, they were pretty good. They have quite the following.
It is a shame because I know what it feels like to lose the drive to blog now and then. And it is a shame I was never able to be blogging friends with pinkie. And I guess that is me and anime bloggers in a nutshell. I want to be friends with them, but I have social anxiety, which makes things hard when trying to talk. At least for me, this is a problem.
I saw that they found a new thing that makes them happy, streaming on twitch and being a Vtuber. And I am happy they found something that makes them happy. I am sure they will go far, and I wish them well. I suppose this is a sign that I should try to make friends on a platform while people are still here.
And they also mentioned getting ghost followers when their post has a certain word in it. Which I again, have had the same thing. I would also get ghost followers or bots followers and those are never good, but sadly not much you can do about them besides remove them yourself or ignore them.
There is not much to say but do what you love, and never force yourself to do something you don’t like doing anymore. It sounds like a (no duh) moment, but you be shocked to find out people force them to do something they don’t like when it is not needed to do so in the first place.
I wanted to make an update log. And for where I have been and what I am doing. I know it has already been a month since my last blog post, and a lot of stuff has happened/is still happening, and I should get to it. I got a lot of things I want to do or get done.

WordPress related stuff
I noticed my blog has two posts with the most views on my blog
1 – “Seen Lifesfinewhine’s update on WP” and feel Pinterest has added a boost to the view count
2 – Why I still use WordPress, and not Tumblr for now
It is interesting to see these posts with high views, but again, Pinterest has helped a lot because of the gifs in the post, and users view the post and leave. I feel I should delete these pins linking to my post on Pinterest, and remove these gifs in the posts I made.
Blogs posts I got in the works
1 – life blog log
2 – elsword blu log
3 – witching hour log
4 – Sonic fans
5 – SRB2 kart
6 – ???
Twitter / social related
I noticed a lot of Twitter users followed my Twitter (Onychaos) when I was getting ready to leave that account. I gave it one full year. But I can’t do it. That account has good memories, bad memories, and people who left or are there that are tied to those memories. I felt it is best to cut some people out of my life, and if they follow me again, I will refollow them but I think this is for the best.
Onychaos is not the main account, don’t follow it. Even though, discord users, elsword players, bloggers followed my dead account :(
Chaosimpact_ is my new Twitter, I am using it. And a shame people followed the dead account (onychaos)
been using discord a lot as of late
playing Phantasy Star Online 2
played and beaten Terraria
1 – started expert mode
Playing Princess & Conquest for a good bit
I just wanted to make a short update log-like blog post since it has been a good while, and I don’t want an inactive blog. Lol, I hope this will be fine till my other posts are ready to be posted. I will see you later with new blog posts, and I will be sure to comment on some blog posts.
