Blogger Recognition Award Time

So I woke up to see I got a blogger award. That’s the best thing you can wake up to, to be honest. All I had planned for was to check my blog stats, get on Twitter, and do whatever after that. But again, this is a delightful surprise, for sure.

So I want to say thank you to eveningteamusings for nominating me for an blogger award. You surprised me with this one, and for that, I positively thank you for such an honor.

So, reading the rules, I can do all of them.

Share two pieces of advice that could benefit new bloggers.

Nominate a maximum of fifteen other bloggers.

The reason why I started to blog in the first place

It is hard to point to one sole reason since there were many reasons why I wanted to blog in the first place. But I can point to one big reason that can sum up most of it.

I started blogging because it was a way for me to express myself and talk about things I liked. It was my way to escape, to have “someone” to talk to when I didn’t want to share my problems with friends or family. It is my realm where I can share my issues or talk about anything and voice my unpopular opinion on it.

It sounds cheesy, and it is, but that’s the one big reason why I started to blog. To have a voice and talk about things and share my silly opinion on stuff.

Advice for new bloggers

My advice is to blog about what makes you happy: Games, life, anime, cartoons, any content. Blog about it, and don’t be shy or scared to blog about anything. If you ever have doubts, push them away and blog your heart out!

And my other advice would be to learn the tags and categories. And how many you can use in a post. It will help make blogging more fun, and people will be able to find your content. Always check to see if a wordpress.com tag has any blog posts in it. You can use the reader to see if a tag is empty or not.

People I want to nominate because they are amazing.

And they make great content and worth checking out. I would think you would like their content, plus you get to see more bloggers, which is excellent for everyone.

    1. You are most welcome, Irina. And I did not know that, that’s cool. And I am sorry you were having a rough day, I hope your night is better, and tomorrow will be even better for you. ^^ And you are most welcome, again.

  1. I liked your advice to new bloggers — especially the writing about what you love. Enthusiasm really comes through, and it makes reading the posts memorable.

Thanks for the mention! Tag posts are surprisingly hard for me to write, but I’ll see what I can do!

    1. Haha, thank you, Crow. That was something I learned a few years ago. I used to be scared to blog about what I loved or wanted to talk about, but later I got past that. And it is true. Writing about what’s in your heart and what you love brings out the very best in you and your posts. And you are most welcome for the mention. And they can be since they are much different, but they become easy to write over time. ^^
